TCI B6524, tert-Butyl Phenylcarbamate (CAS 3422-01-3), is Boc-protected aniline, a fundamental building block in organic synthesis. The carbamate group moderates the reactivity of the aromatic amine, allowing selective transformations elsewhere in the molecule before acidic deprotection restores the free aniline. It is frequently employed as a model substrate in palladium-catalysed amination and C–H functionalisation methodology studies.
