TCI B6572 Biotin-PEG3-Dz is a bifunctional probe combining a biotin affinity tag, a hydrophilic PEG3 spacer, and a photoreactive diazirine group. Upon photoactivation, the diazirine moiety forms a reactive species capable of covalently capturing nearby binding partners, while the biotin tag enables downstream enrichment with streptavidin supports. It is well suited to photoaffinity labeling, drug target identification, and proteomic sample preparation involving transient interactions. Supplied in 50 mg and 200 mg sizes, the reagent should be handled under subdued lighting and stored cool and protected from light as indicated on the product label.
