Description
TCI B6844 2,5-Dioxopyrrolidin-1-yl 4-Bromobutanoate is a short heterobifunctional crosslinker bearing an amine-reactive NHS ester at one end and an alkyl bromide at the other. This orthogonal reactivity allows sequential coupling: lysine or N-terminal amines are acylated first, while the bromide is reserved for thiols or other nucleophiles. It is commonly applied in protein labelling, surface immobilisation, and probe construction where a compact spacer is preferred.
