TCI D5872 Di(N-succinimidyl) Pimelate is a homobifunctional crosslinking reagent built around a seven-carbon pimelic acid chain terminated at both ends with N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester groups. Both active ends are designed to react with primary amines, such as the lysine side chains of proteins or the free amino terminus of a peptide, forming stable amide bonds.
