TCI B6946 is a chiral phosphinooxazoline (PHOX) ligand bearing an (S)-configured tert-butyl substituted oxazoline ring linked to a diphenylphosphine-substituted phenyl backbone. Its mixed P,N donor set forms well-defined chiral pockets around transition metals such as iridium, palladium, and copper. Researchers commonly employ this ligand class in asymmetric hydrogenation, allylic alkylation, and decarboxylative allylic alkylation studies.
