The Joan Lab MDB100C is a compact mini dry bath that both heats and cools, covering a range from room temperature minus 15℃ up to 100℃. It suits molecular biology work such as PCR, enzyme reactions and DNA denaturation, as well as routine tasks in clinical biochemistry, microbiology and biotechnology research.
Temperature stability and homogeneity are both held to ±0.5℃, and the display reads in 0.1℃ steps. The block reaches 100℃ from 25℃ in 12 minutes or less, and cools from 20℃ to 0℃ in 20 - 25 minutes. Multi-point operation lets users program up to 9 temperature points, with timer settings from 5s to 23h59min.
Drawing 60W on an AC100-240V supply and measuring 160*115*96 mm, the unit fits easily on a crowded bench. The MDB100C comes with a 1-year warranty.
