The Joan Lab LC500-12 is a low speed benchtop centrifuge built for routine separation work. Its rotor holds twelve 15ml centrifuge tubes or twelve 2/5/10ml blood tubes. Speed is adjustable from 500 to 4000rpm, reaching a maximum RCF of 2075xg on a rotor radius of 11.6cm, with run times set anywhere from 30s to 59min50s.
Program memory stores frequently used settings, and other rotors can be fitted as options. For safety, the unit combines a double electronic lock with lid opening protection, cavity overtemperature protection and vibration protection. It draws 60W and runs on AC 110V - 220V, 50/60Hz.
