Collection: Gravimetric Reagents

Gravimetric Reagents — contains precipitating and complexing reagents used in classical gravimetric analysis, including dioximes, aminoperimidine compounds, and aromatic borate salts for selectively precipitating metal ions or target compounds.

These gravimetric reagents are used in analytical laboratories to determine the content of metal ions such as potassium, cesium, or nickel through the formation of stable, weighable precipitates, and for the determination of inorganic compounds such as sulfate. Some tetraphenylborate derivatives also function as titrimetric reagents in the determination of nonionic surfactants.

Example products in this collection: TCI A5133 40835-96-9 2-Aminoperimidine Hydrobromide [Precipitation reagent for SO4], TCI C0483 492-99-9 Nioxime, TCI A5131 385812-51-1 Sodium Tetrakis(4-fluorophenyl)borate Hydrate [Precipitation reagent for Cs and titrimetric reagent for nonionic surfactants], TCI D0729 95-45-4 Dimethylglyoxime, TCI A5130 143-66-8 Sodium Tetraphenylborate [Precipitation reagent for K], TCI D0730 75006-64-3 Dimethylglyoxime Disodium Salt Octahydrate, TCI F0079 23789-34-6 alpha-Furil Dioxime.

Choose based on the target ion or compound to be precipitated, the hydrate or anhydrous form that affects weighing stability, and the purity that determines the accuracy of gravimetric results. All products are genuine Tokyo Chemical Industry (TCI) Japan products, with purity, packaging, and storage conditions listed on each item's page.
