Activated Carbon Pellet from Nanografi is a dense granular activated carbon in 20x50 mesh size, made from a high-grade coal base and activated with steam. It serves as an adsorbent filter medium for removing organic contaminants, chlorine and volatile compounds from liquids and gases.
The steam activation process creates a strong carbon framework with a well-developed network of internal pores, giving the material a large adsorption capacity. It has a surface area of 750 m²/g and an iodine number above 700 mg/g, with a balanced pore distribution that supports consistent separation results.
Built for demanding industrial use, the pellets combine good mechanical strength with low dust formation and hold their structure under continuous fluid flow, which helps extend service life in filtration columns and treatment lines.
- Removal of organic contaminants, chemical residues and dissolved toxic molecules in industrial wastewater treatment.
- Municipal drinking water purification to reduce taste, odor, chlorine byproducts and micropollutants.
- Trapping volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hazardous gases and hydrocarbon emissions in air scrubbers and gas treatment columns.
- Adsorbent and catalyst support for decolorization, purification and separation of petrochemical process liquids.
- Dechlorination pre-treatment in multi-media filtration to protect reverse osmosis (RO) membranes and ion-exchange resins.
