- Draws up and dispenses liquid in measuring pipettes without mouth contact.
- Controls the liquid flow rate so the meniscus is easy to read.
- Must be used when pipetting acids, bases, and hazardous materials.
A rubber filler is sufficient for occasional work; an electric filler is more comfortable for repeated pipetting throughout the day. Do not let liquid be drawn into the filler body; it damages the valve and contaminates the next sample.
