Normax PA 49 065 Desiccator is an airtight container designed to keep samples dry and free from moisture during storage as well as during cooling in the laboratory. Equipped with a rotate sleeve on its lid, this desiccator makes it easier to regulate air pressure when opening and closing the container without damaging the vacuum seal. This product is available in two options, namely with a plate (perforated plate on which to place the sample) or without a plate, so it can be adjusted to usage needs.

This desiccator is commonly used to cool porcelain or glass crucibles after heating in an oven/furnace, to dry samples before analytical weighing, and to store reagents and hygroscopic materials. Very suitable for application in analytical chemistry laboratories, industrial pharmaceutical and food quality control (QC) laboratories, research institutions, and educational institutions.
