Antimony telluride (Sb2Te3) sputtering targets are solid, high-density disks or plates of a binary chalcogenide compound. They are used in physical vapor deposition (PVD) sputtering systems to deposit thin films of antimony telluride onto substrates. Sb2Te3 belongs to the family of layered semiconductor materials studied for thermoelectric and phase-change behavior, which makes it a common choice for thin-film research.
