Carbon nanotube-mica composites are hybrid nanomaterials in which carbon nanotubes are attached to mica platelets, commonly through electrostatic adsorption. This method relies on attraction between oppositely charged surfaces in solution, allowing nanotubes to deposit onto the layered silicate support. The resulting composite combines the high aspect ratio and conductivity of carbon nanotubes with the platy, layered structure of mica.
