The Kiyon KK-011AS-EXT (KK-011AS EXTRA) is a single-sided, 3-port glovebox from Korea Kiyon for work that must stay free of oxygen and moisture. Its purifier keeps O2 and H2O below 1 ppm inside a hermetically sealed SUS304 stainless steel box, so air-sensitive materials can be weighed, mixed, assembled and stored under nitrogen or argon.
With a 1,800 mm working length and three glove ports, the EXTRA version gives 1.5 users more room than the 2-port KK-011AS (1,200 mm). Purifier regeneration, pressure control and the circulation blower are run by a PLC with a 7-inch colour touch screen, and the box passes a leak test of 0.05 vol%/hr according to ISO 10648-2.
