Iwaki Cell Scrapers are sterile laboratory aids used to scrape and collect cells from the surface of petri dishes (petri dish) during cell harvesting in cell culture. Their sterile, single-use design helps minimize the risk of cross-contamination and maintain the purity of experimental results.
This tool is commonly used in cell biology research, virology, and drug screening (drug screening) to transfer cells from the bottom of the culture vessel into media or analysis tubes. It is available in variants for petri dishes and for culture flasks (FK) of 150 & 225 cm² and 25 & 75 cm², so it can be matched to the type of culture vessel used in the laboratory.
