COOH-functionalized short length multi walled carbon nanotubes are cylindrical carbon nanomaterials made of several concentric graphitic walls. Carboxyl (-COOH) groups are attached to the nanotube surface to improve dispersion in solvents and compatibility with polymer and composite matrices. This short length grade is a carbon nanomaterial in the MWCNT class, with a purity above 98% and an outside diameter of 5-15 nm.
