Carboxyl-functionalized short single walled carbon nanotubes are carbon nanomaterials made of single-layer graphene cylinders, with carboxylic acid (-COOH) groups attached to their surfaces. The functional groups improve dispersibility in polar media and provide reactive sites for further chemical bonding. Short-length tubes are often chosen for more uniform dispersion in liquids and composite matrices.
