This copper (Cu) nanopowder from Nanografi consists of spherical, black copper nanoparticles with an average particle size of 22 nm and a Cu purity of ≥ 99,85%. The particles are partially passivated with a 4,0 wt% carbon coating, applied only to allow safe shipping.

The material has a cubic crystal structure, a true density of 8,9 g/cm3, a bulk density of 0,2-0,4 g/cm3 and a specific surface area of 35,0-55,0 m2/g. Elemental analysis shows Cu ≥ 99.8, Si 0.1 and others ≤ 0.01.

Valued for its high electrical conductivity, the powder is aimed mainly at the electronics industry, where it serves in conductive formulations and electronic components, and it also finds use in catalysis, lubricant additives and wear-resistant coatings.

  • Formulation of conducting coatings, inks and pastes.
  • Raw material for electronic parts and microelectronic devices.
  • Catalysis of reactions such as methanol production.
  • Additive for lubricants.
  • Wear-resistant coatings and sintering additives.
