CR2016 coin cell cases are the positive and negative outer casings used to assemble CR2016-format coin cell batteries in the laboratory. This set is made of 304 stainless steel, an austenitic stainless alloy valued for its corrosion resistance and formability, and is supplied with a 20 mm diameter and 1.6 mm height. These cases are battery hardware components rather than active materials.
