Graphitized multi-walled carbon nanotubes are cylindrical carbon nanostructures made of multiple concentric graphene layers. The graphitization treatment aims to improve the crystallinity of the graphitic walls compared with as-synthesized multi-walled nanotubes. As members of the carbon nanomaterial family, they are widely studied for their electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties.
