Indium (In) sputtering targets are solid, planar sources of elemental indium, a soft post-transition metal used in physical vapor deposition (PVD). During sputtering, energetic ions eject indium atoms from the target surface, which then condense onto a substrate to form thin films. The target is supplied as a metallic material for thin-film coating research and industrial processes.
