Indium zinc oxide (IZO, InZnO) is an amorphous transparent conducting oxide ceramic composed mainly of indium oxide and zinc oxide. It belongs to the family of n-type transparent conductive oxides and is widely processed into sputtering targets for physical vapor deposition of thin films. Its amorphous structure allows smooth films over large areas, and its combination of optical transparency and electrical conductivity makes it suitable for demanding device architectures.
