Lithium Nickel Cobalt Oxide, written LiNi(1-x)CoxO2, is a layered lithium transition-metal oxide in which nickel and cobalt share the metal sites of the crystal structure, with the cobalt fraction set by x. It belongs to the family of lithium-ion cathode oxides. This product is supplied as a sputtering target, a solid piece used in physical vapor deposition to form thin films of this compound on substrates for research.
