This Nanografi product is a spherical nickel-based superalloy powder of Inconel 625 composition, with particles in the 45-106 µm range. It is intended for additive manufacturing and spray welding, where a free-flowing, consistent feedstock is essential.
The powder is made by argon atomization under clean-room conditions. This route gives high purity, repeatable batch quality and good flow behaviour. Parts and coatings built from Inconel 625 keep high strength and resist oxidation and corrosion over a broad temperature span.
Because it withstands aggressive media and extreme heat, the alloy is widely chosen in aerospace, marine, nuclear, power generation and chemical processing. Typical uses include jet engine exhaust hardware, thrust-reverser parts, seawater structures and chemical process equipment. It also retains its toughness at cryogenic temperatures.
- Aerospace components such as jet engine exhaust systems, thrust-reverser parts and shroud rings.
- Marine and offshore hardware, including seawater systems, ship ducting and mooring cables, thanks to resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
- Land-based gas turbines and nuclear facilities that require resistance to high-temperature oxidation and carburization.
- Chemical process equipment, flare stacks and ducting exposed to highly acidic or corrosive media.
- Cryogenic tankage and instrumentation parts where toughness at low temperature is needed.
- High-performance automotive exhaust systems and industrial parts subject to thermal cycling.

Spray weld strictly according to oxygen-acetylene flame or plasma spray welding requirements; -150 mesh powder suits small and medium spray guns, while -150/+320 mesh suits large guns. Dry the powder at 120 °C for 2 hours if it has absorbed moisture or has been stored for more than 3 months. This is a readily combustible metal powder with general toxic and irritating effects; the maximum allowable day concentration is 0.001 mg/m3. As a nuisance dust, inhalation may cause headache, elevated body temperature, vertigo and weakness. Consult the MSDS before use.
