Nickel Chromium (Ni-Cr) sputtering targets are solid metallic alloy plates made from a combination of nickel and chromium. This alloy belongs to the group of engineering metal alloys valued for its corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, and stable electrical behavior. In physical vapor deposition (PVD), the target is bombarded with ions in a vacuum chamber so that its atoms are ejected and deposited onto a substrate, forming a thin metallic film.
