Nickel (Ni) sputtering targets are solid metal plates designed for physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes. Nickel is a ferromagnetic transition metal valued for its corrosion resistance, magnetic behavior, and electrical conductivity. During sputtering, energetic ions bombard the target surface and eject nickel atoms that condense onto a substrate, forming uniform thin films for research and development.
