Nickel (Ni) sputtering targets are solid discs or plates of nickel metal designed for physical vapor deposition (PVD) systems. As a transition metal, nickel is valued for its magnetic, corrosion-resistant, and conductive properties. During sputtering, the target is bombarded with energetic ions, ejecting nickel atoms that deposit as a thin film onto a substrate.
