These meniscus guides fit the Ossila 100 mm standard slot die head and help fix the edges of the coating bead, so the deposited film has a clearly defined width. They are made from stainless steel and suit coating fluids from 0 – 1000 cPs.
Each pack contains 3 guides. Guides are offered in a choice of predefined coating widths, lip depths of 0.5 mm, 1 mm or 1.5 mm, and thicknesses of 0.05 mm or 0.1 mm, letting you match the guide to your coating process.
Where standard options do not fit the job, custom guides can be supplied, including designs that allow several strips to be coated at once. The guides sit within Ossila's wider slot die coating range, which also includes slot die heads and shims for further control over film width.
