These 100mm meniscus guides from Ossila are accessories for slot die coating that fix, or pin, the width of the coated area. Holding the meniscus at a set width gives a more sharply defined film edge during deposition.
The guides are made of stainless steel and fit the Ossila 100 mm standard slot die head. They come in packs of 3 and are offered with predefined coating widths, guide thicknesses of 0.05 mm or 0.1 mm, and lip depths of 0.5 mm, 1 mm or 1.5 mm, so the setup can be matched to the coating job.
