3DPA-DiKTa (3,7,11-Tris(diphenylamino)quinolino[3,2,1-de]acridine-5,9-dione, CAS 2759189-68-7) is a multiresonance thermally activated delayed fluorescence (MR-TADF) emitter that delivers pure red, narrowband emission for OLED research. Its structure places three electron-donating diphenylamine groups symmetrically on an electron-accepting acridine-5,9-dione (DiKTa) core, opposite the central nitrogen atom.
In 2 wt.% mCP doped films the material emits at 617 nm with a FWHM of 56 nm, a photoluminescence quantum efficiency of 60% and a small ΔEST of 0.20 eV. Because its transition dipole moments favour horizontal orientation, red OLEDs using it in the emissive layer reached a maximum EQE of 16.7% at 613 nm.
Pairing 3DPA-DiKTa with 4CzIPN as an assistant dopant in a hyperfluorescence device raised brightness and markedly reduced efficiency roll-off. The unsublimed grade is supplied as a deep red powder or crystals with purity ≥98.0% (HPLC).
- Narrowband red emissive dopant in OLED-TADF devices.
- Terminal emitter in hyperfluorescence OLEDs with 4CzIPN as assistant dopant.
- Research on multiresonance TADF materials based on DiKTa derivatives.
