3P-T2T, or 2,4,6-tris(2-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)phenyl)-1,3,5-triazine (CAS 352196-01-1), is a triazine-based organic semiconductor supplied as a sublimed off-white powder or crystals with >99.0% purity (HPLC). It is typically deposited as the electron transport layer (ETL) in OLED stacks, in the same family as PO-T2T and 3N-T2T.
Its electron-poor triazine core carries three phenylpyrazole arms. The electron-withdrawing pyrazolyl groups give 3P-T2T stronger electron transport and injection than T2T. Beyond ETL use, it serves as a host for green, yellow and red phosphorescent emitters and can also accommodate blue emission.
Paired with the hole-transporting donor TCTA, 3P-T2T acts as an acceptor that forms an exciplex emitting efficient yellow delayed fluorescence. The TCTA:3P-T2T system offers high, balanced hole and electron mobilities and large energy-level offsets at the interface, making it useful as a TADF exciplex co-host.
