These meniscus guides are accessories for the Ossila 50 mm standard slot die head. Fitted to the head, they pin the edges of the coating meniscus so the deposited film keeps a defined, controlled width during slot die coating.
The guides are made from stainless steel and are suited to coating inks with viscosities from 0 to 1000 cPs. They are supplied in packs of 3, with predefined coating widths, lip depths and guide thicknesses. Guide thickness options are 0.05 mm and 0.1 mm, and lip depths of 0.5 mm, 1 mm and 1.5 mm are offered across the range.
Product code L3005M1-20 belongs to this 50 mm meniscus guide family. Custom guide designs are also available for setups that need multi-strip coatings, and the guides can be combined with slot die shims to further define the coating width.
