These meniscus guides fit the Ossila 50 mm standard slot die head and help fix the width of the coated film, giving cleaner, better-defined edges during slot die coating.
Made from stainless steel, the guides are supplied in packs of 3. The range covers several preset coating widths, with guide thicknesses of 0.05 mm or 0.1 mm and lip depths of 0.5 mm, 1 mm or 1.5 mm, so a set can be matched to the coating job. They are suited to inks with viscosities from 0 – 1000 cPs.
Where standard widths are not enough, custom versions can be made, including designs for coating multiple strips at once. The guides work alongside slot die heads and shims as part of a configurable slot die coating setup.
