Ossila M2400A1 is a gamma-phase aluminum oxide (Al2O3, alumina, CAS 1344-28-1) nanopowder with an average particle size of about 18 nm and purity above 99.5%. The white, hydrophilic powder offers a specific surface area of 140 m2/g, making it suited to catalysis, adsorption and materials research.
At the nanoscale, gamma alumina is the most stable phase of aluminum oxide, combining high surface area with thermal stability. It is amphoteric, catalytically active, very hard and has a high melting point.
