The Ossila Annealing and Cleaning Beaker C191 is a compact polypropylene beaker supplied with a glass lid. It is shaped to hold Ossila substrate racks with a precise fit, giving an enclosed volume for processes such as solvent vapor annealing and HMDS vapor phase treatment.
Its slim footprint of 35 mm x 36 mm x 100 mm means far less liquid is needed to cover samples. Compared with a standard round beaker, it uses between a half and a quarter of the solvent, which helps cut consumable costs and reduces chemical waste.
The beaker is well suited to cleaning ITO substrates before building PV or LED devices. During sonication in isopropyl alcohol (IPA), the closely fitting lid limits evaporation, while the narrow shape keeps the amount of IPA required to submerge the substrates to a minimum.
- Solvent vapor annealing of thin films inside an enclosed volume.
- HMDS vapor phase treatment of substrates.
- Sonication cleaning of ITO substrates in IPA ahead of PV or LED device fabrication.
- Routine substrate cleaning where solvent consumption and waste need to be reduced.
