The Ossila Annealing and Cleaning Beaker C192 is a compact polypropylene beaker supplied with a glass lid. It is shaped to hold Ossila substrate racks closely, giving an enclosed volume for processes such as solvent vapor annealing and HMDS vapor phase treatment.
This C192 version measures 45 x 41 x 100mm. Because its footprint matches the rack rather than a wide round vessel, it needs roughly a half to a quarter of the solvent a standard round beaker would use, which cuts solvent consumption, waste and the environmental footprint of routine work.
The beaker also suits substrate cleaning. When ITO substrates are sonicated in isopropyl alcohol (IPA) before PV or LED device fabrication, the close-fitting lid stops the IPA from evaporating, and less IPA is needed to fully submerge the substrates than in a standard glass beaker.
- Solvent vapor annealing of thin films in an enclosed volume.
- HMDS vapor phase treatment of substrates.
- Sonication cleaning of ITO substrates in isopropyl alcohol before PV or LED device fabrication.
- Holding Ossila substrate racks during solvent-based processing while reducing solvent use.
