Ossila S2011A2-25 is a pack of 25 high-purity copper foil sheets intended as current collectors for lithium-ion battery anodes and other energy storage devices. This version has a single sided polish finish, a thickness of 9 µm and a sheet size of 210 x 297 mm.

The battery grade copper has a purity of Cu >99.9%, with tightly limited levels of iron, bismuth and lead. At 9 µm the foil offers a tensile strength of ≥296 MPa, a surface dyne of 64 dyne/cm and a normal elongation of 2.6%, helping researchers balance conductivity against energy density when designing cells.

Supplied as pre-cut sheets rather than rolls, the foil can be used directly from the bag, saves storage space and suits smaller benchtop bar-coating machines. It can be coated with anode active materials such as graphite or carbon black powders to prepare electrodes.

  • Current collector substrate for Li-ion battery anodes.
  • Substrate for other energy storage device research.
  • Coating with graphite or carbon black powders to fabricate anode electrodes on benchtop bar-coaters.
  • Comparing foil specifications during cell design studies.
