Ossila I201 is a ready-to-use perovskite precursor ink intended for making perovskite photovoltaic devices inside a nitrogen-filled glove box. It combines methylammonium iodide (MAI), lead chloride (PbCl2) and lead iodide (PbI2) in a 1:1:4 molar ratio (PbCl2:PbI2:MAI), dissolved in anhydrous DMF. Once processed, it forms a CH3NH3PbI3-xClx perovskite film.
The formulation was developed for spin coater deposition and follows ink compositions reported in the literature. It is designed for a bottom ITO/PEDOT:PSS AI 4083 anode and a top PC70BM/Ca/Al cathode; devices built this way reached an average power conversion efficiency of (11.2% ± 0.4)% and a peak of 11.8%. The best reported pixel showed a Voc of 0.91 V, a FF of 79% and a Jsc of -16.5 mA/cm2. The ink works in both standard and inverted architectures.
It is supplied as 10 lots of 0.5 ml, packed in a glove box to preserve quality, with each lot enough for one experiment (roughly 160 device substrates in total). A full process recipe is included, and the ink only needs brief heating before use.
