This Ossila spin coating system pairs the Standard V3 spin coater (L2001A3) with a dual syringe pump and a custom PTFE chuck. It is built for researchers who want automated, repeatable thin film fabrication, with programmed solution deposition replacing labour-intensive manual pipetting and reducing human error.
A connection adapter links the two instruments, and the kit includes disposable syringes, PTFE tubing and needles. Up to four different solutions can be dispensed separately, which suits layer-by-layer coating and antisolvent quenching. Manual dispensing remains possible with the adapter fitted, and both units can also be run on their own. The two channels of the dual pump are controlled independently.
The Standard V3 spin coater runs from 120 – 6,000 rpm with spin times of 1 – 1,000 sec and accepts substrates up to 100 mm (4") diameter. The syringe pump handles syringes from 0.5 μl to 60 ml in infusion and withdrawal modes. Both instruments have built-in software, so multi-step programs can be created and stored without an external PC.
