This Ossila Spin Coating System pairs the Standard V3 spin coater (L2001A3) with a single-channel syringe pump, a connection adapter, disposable syringes, PTFE tubing and needles. Linking the two units gives automated, programmable solution dispensing onto a spinning substrate, so thin film depositions become more repeatable and less dependent on manual technique.
The spin coater runs from 120 to 6,000 rpm with speed stability better than 2% error and accepts substrates up to 100 mm (4") in diameter. This configuration uses a custom chuck made from PTFE, built to the substrate dimensions you specify within a maximum chuck diameter of 115 mm. The syringe pump handles syringes from 0.5 μl to 60 ml, supports infusion and withdrawal, and is driven by a NEMA 17 stepper motor with a rate accuracy of ±0.16%.
Both instruments have built-in software, so multi-step programs can be created and stored without an external PC. Manual pipetting remains possible with the adapter in place, and each unit can also be operated on its own. This version is supplied for US mains (Type B).

Operate the syringe pump between 5 °C – 40 °C and at up to 80% RH at 31 °C. The spin coater has a magnetic safety switch on the door, and the pump includes limit switches and crash sensing. Use the built-in spirit level and adjustable feet to level the spin coater before use.
