Nanografi Short Single Walled Carbon Nanotubes (SWCNTs, SWNTs) are a black powder made by CVD, with a purity of > 65% and a specific surface area of 400 m2/g. Each tube is a single, one-atom-thick graphene sheet rolled into a hollow cylinder. The tubes have an average diameter of 1.0 nm and lengths of 1-3 µm.
Short SWCNTs combine outstanding thermal, mechanical and electrical behaviour. This material has a thermal conductivity of 45-190 W/m.K and an electrical conductivity of 98 S/cm, with an ash content of 3.0 wt%. These properties make the nanotubes useful for improving the performance of many materials and devices.
Typical research areas include energy storage, molecular electronics, nanomechanical devices, composites and bio-sensing. The product is offered in pack sizes from 5 grams up to 1000 grams.
