Single layer Ti3C2Tx is a two-dimensional MXene, a family of transition metal carbides, nitrides, and carbonitrides derived from layered MAX phase precursors through selective etching. Ti3C2Tx is the most widely studied member of the MXene family, where Tx denotes surface terminations that influence its dispersibility and surface chemistry. Supplied as a suspension, it provides a convenient liquid form for film casting, coating, and composite preparation.
