This Nanografi product is a spherical micron powder of Inconel 718, a nickel-chromium alloy valued for high strength and corrosion resistance. The particle size range is 45-106 µm, and the alloy performs across a broad temperature window, from cryogenic conditions up to high-temperature service.
The powder processes well and the alloy can be age-hardened. It welds readily and resists cracking after welding. Parts made from Inconel 718 show strong tensile, fatigue, creep and rupture properties.
These characteristics make the powder a common choice for 3D printing (additive manufacturing), aerospace and energy work where components must be durable, precise and dependable.
- Production of liquid-fueled rocket engine components that need strength and oxidation resistance at extreme temperatures.
- Manufacture of aircraft rings, casings and formed sheet metal parts that rely on fatigue and creep resistance.
- Components for land-based gas turbine engines exposed to high temperatures for long periods.
- Cryogenic tanks and systems that must stay tough and stable in extreme cold.
- Precision fasteners and instrumentation parts for aerospace and industrial use.

- Product code: NG09PM0120
- Material: Inconel 718 (nickel-chromium alloy)
- Particle size: 45-106 µm
- Morphology: Spherical
- Product code: NG09PM0120
- Drying before use: 120 °C, 2 hours
- Maximum allowable day concentration: 0.001 mg/m3
Follow the requirements of the oxygen-acetylene flame or plasma spray welding process. For small and medium spray welding guns, -150 mesh powder is recommended; for large spray guns, -150/+320 mesh. Dry the powder at 120 °C for 2 hours before use if it has absorbed moisture or has been stored longer than 3 months. This is a readily combustible metal powder with general toxic and irritating effects; the maximum allowable day concentration is 0.001 mg/m3. As a nuisance dust, inhalation may cause headache, elevated body temperature, vertigo and weakness.
