This product is Inconel 718, a nickel-chromium alloy known for high strength and corrosion resistance, supplied as spherical micron powder with a particle size of 5-25 µm. The alloy performs over a broad temperature span, from cryogenic conditions up to high-temperature service.
The spherical powder processes well and the alloy can be age-hardened. It welds very well and resists cracking after welding. Inconel 718 also offers high tensile, fatigue, creep and rupture strength.
These properties make the powder a common choice for additive manufacturing (3D printing) and for aerospace and energy parts where durability, precision and performance matter.
- Production of liquid-fueled rocket engine components that need strength and oxidation resistance at extreme temperatures.
- Manufacture of aircraft rings, casings and formed sheet metal parts that need fatigue and creep resistance.
- Components for land-based gas turbine engines used in power generation that face long high-temperature exposure.
- Cryogenic storage tanks and systems where toughness must be kept at very low temperatures.
- Precision fasteners and instrumentation parts for aerospace and industrial use.

- Product code: NG09PM0117
- Material: Inconel 718 (nickel-chromium alloy)
- Particle size: 5-25 µm
- Morphology: Spherical
- Product code: NG09PM0117
- Drying before use: 120 °C, 2 hours
- Maximum allowable day concentration: 0.001 mg/m3
Weld strictly according to the requirements of oxygen-acetylene flame or plasma spray welding. Use -150 mesh powder with small and medium spray welding guns and -150/+320 mesh powder with large spray guns. Dry the powder at 120 °C for 2 hours before use if it has absorbed moisture or has been stored for more than 3 months. This is a readily combustible metal powder with general toxic and irritating effects; the maximum allowable day concentration is 0.001 mg/m3. As a nuisance dust, inhalation may cause headache, elevated body temperature, vertigo and weakness.
