Description
TCI B6960 is 3'-bromospiro[fluorene-9,9'-xanthene], a spiro-linked building block in which fluorene and xanthene units are joined through a shared quaternary carbon. The near-orthogonal geometry interrupts conjugation between the two units and yields bulky, thermally robust, amorphous-favouring molecules. The bromine substituent offers a single well-defined site for Suzuki–Miyaura or Buchwald–Hartwig functionalisation.
