Tin oxide (SnO2) is an inorganic metal oxide, widely studied as an n-type wide-bandgap semiconductor and as a transparent conductive material in thin-film form. A sputtering target is a dense solid source used in physical vapor deposition (PVD), where energetic ions eject material from the target surface so that it deposits onto a substrate as a uniform thin film.
