Tungsten disulfide (WS2) is a layered transition metal dichalcogenide. Its structure consists of sheets of tungsten and sulfur atoms that are held together by weak interlayer forces, which allows the layers to slide over one another. This property, together with its semiconducting behavior, makes WS2 a widely studied material in tribology, catalysis, and two-dimensional materials research. This micron powder form is supplied with a stated purity of 99.9% and a particle size of 20-30 µm.
