Tungsten disulfide (WS2) is a layered transition metal dichalcogenide, belonging to the family of two-dimensional materials. Its structure consists of stacked atomic sheets held together by weak van der Waals forces, which gives it anisotropic and semiconducting properties that are widely studied in materials science. This product is supplied as a sputtering target, a solid, dense disc used as the source material in physical vapor deposition (PVD) processes to produce WS2 thin films on a substrate.
