Description
TCI Chloranilic Acid Sodium Salt (catalog C0081, CAS 36275-66-8) is the water-soluble sodium form of chloranilic acid, convenient wherever aqueous reagent solutions are required. It retains the strong colour of the chloranilate moiety and is therefore widely used in colorimetric and charge-transfer based spectrophotometric determinations, including pharmaceutical assays. The same ligand character makes it a useful starting material for metal complexes and coordination materials built on bridging chloranilate units.
