TCI Chloranilic Acid Lanthanum(III) Salt Decahydrate (catalog C0079, CAS 32607-23-1) is a rare-earth based analytical reagent used chiefly for the spectrophotometric determination of fluoride. In the presence of fluoride, the lanthanum centre is captured and coloured chloranilate ligand is released into solution, producing a measurable signal proportional to the fluoride content. It is therefore valuable for drinking water testing, environmental monitoring, and analytical method development, as well as for coordination studies of lanthanide complexes.
